Baltic Power Offshore Wind Project

The offshore wind industry is experiencing a pivotal moment in its development, with projects such as the Baltic Power offshore wind farm leading the transition towards renewable energy. Located in the Baltic Sea, approximately 23 km north of the Polish coast, off the shores of Choczewo and Łeba, the project developed by the ORLEN Group and Northland Power represents a major technological and environmental milestone. With an installed capacity of up to 1.2 GW, Baltic Power will supply clean energy to more than 1.5 million households.

Against this backdrop of innovation and demanding technical requirements, Dogram has been selected to carry out offshore measurements of the upper flanges of the transition pieces (TP), which serve as the connection between the foundations and the wind turbine towers.

Dogram was selected as the preferred contractor following the Baltic Power tender and award process, thanks to its proven technical expertise in offshore environments, its focus on health, safety and environment (HSE), and its ability to adapt to international projects. The Dogram team is carrying out sub-millimetre tolerance checks to ensure the precise assembly of the components.

Beyond the technical aspects, this project strengthens Dogram’s position as a strategic partner in the offshore wind sector. The company has deployed a specialized team capable of operating in offshore environments and meeting the high standards required by projects of this scale. Key values such as safety, technical rigor, operational flexibility and international collaboration have been essential in overcoming the logistical and technical challenges posed by Baltic Power.

With commissioning scheduled for 2026, Baltic Power will not only contribute to the decarbonization of Poland’s energy mix, but will also become a benchmark for future offshore developments across Europe. For Dogram, participating in this project strengthens its track record in the sector and underlines its commitment to the energy transition, demonstrating once again that technical precision and innovation know no borders.
