Dogram Supports East Anglia 3 Offshore Wind Farm, Advancing the UK’s Renewable Energy Goals
The global move toward renewable energy is picking up pace, and projects like the East Anglia 3 Offshore Wind Farm are playing a central role. Owned by ScottishPower Renewables – part of the Iberdrola Group – and currently under construction off the southeast coast of England, East Anglia 3 is set to become one of the largest offshore wind farms in the world. With a planned capacity of 1.4 GW—enough to power the equivalent of more than 1.3 million homes—it represents a significant step toward the UK’s target of 50 GW of offshore wind by 2030.
At Dogram, we’re pleased to contribute to this ambitious project through our work in 3D digitization and Metrology 4.0. Our involvement has spanned from early-stage engineering support and accurate dimensional control to final offshore measurement services. Each step has required careful coordination and a strong focus on accuracy and reliability.
Beyond delivering technical services, we’ve worked closely with the client to support their control over the dimensional aspects of their assets. By sharing our expertise and adapting to project needs—often within tight timelines—we’ve helped ensure they had the data and insights required to move forward with confidence.
We’re proud to have earned positive feedback for our flexibility, responsiveness, and collaborative approach. For us, being part of East Anglia 3 is about more than just contributing to a project, it’s about helping shape a more sustainable future, one precise measurement at a time.
