Rocío Cachero, co-founder of the company Dogram: “If Indra and Escribano are here, it’s because of Asturias’ potential.”

Our CEO Rocío Cachero Crespo breaks down the competitiveness of Asturian engineering firms in an interview by Marian Martinez Gómez published by La Nueva España.

Innovation, flexibility, and high standards. These are the attributes that enable competition in the international market in sectors with such demanding standards as nuclear, renewables, or the defense industry.
The recent arrival of Escribano Mechanical and Engineering or Indra (which has acquired a business unit of DF-Duro Felguera) is clear proof of the value of what is being done here.

Rocío also highlights the facilities for entrepreneurship in Asturias, largely thanks to the constant support provided by the Agencia Sekuens ecosystem, working hand in hand with CEEI Asturias, the Sociedad Regional de Promoción del Principado de Asturias, S.A., and ASTUREX – Sociedad de Promoción Exterior del Principado de Asturias, S.A.

She also shares her perspective on a common challenge faced by many Spanish companies: attracting and retaining talent. There is no easy recipe, but creating agile work environments with constant innovation and fostering professional growth can be a winning strategy.
